Lionel Messi, Barcelona star ‘attacked’ by random man in a party in Ibiza. Ibiza is a Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea off the eastern coast of Spain.
Lionel Messi was said to have been attacked by a party attender last weekend – The 32-year-old has been on summer holiday after helping Argentine win Copa America bronze medal in Brazil.

According to SunSport, the five time ballon d’Or winner, who was in company of his teammate Luis Suarez was sighted being escorted off the unpalatable environment.
It was however unsure what led to the fight but the Barcelona captain was absolve of doing anything wrong in the process.
Messi is currently holidaying in Ibiza with wife Antonela Roccuzzo, and their three children – Thiago, 6, Mateo, 3, and Ciro, 1. Apart from Suarez, Jordi Alba, ex-Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas and their wives were also on the island with pictures showing all of them enjoyed themselves with the larger public earlier in the day.
However, events took a different turn later in the night as the Barcelona star had a face-off with a random participant.
A video on social media claimed to have captured the moment the footballer was taken away by security, with a caption reading: “A guy in the Ibiza party tried to fight with Messi. “Messi is unharmed and was safely escorted out of the area by the security guards.” Barcelona got their preseason campaign off to a losing start following their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea and few days later, beat Andres Iniesta’s Vissel Kobe 2-0.
The Catalans will battle Arsenal next weekend before back-to-back clashes against Italian giants Napoli as they kick off their 2019-20 La Liga campaign with a tricky trip to Athletic Bilbao in mid-August. Legit.ng earlier reported that Spanish League champions Barcelona are planning to give Lionel Messi an incredible new deal which will see him represent the club until 2025. The Argentine legend has been incredible for the club since he was promoted into the Catalans first team in 2004 – winning 34 trophies in all. Messi, whose current contract with the Camp Nou outfit expire in the summer of 2021 earns is said to be earning around £1.7 million per week at the club.
